Osaka is a a big city. People in osaka seem more friendly then in a big city like tokyo. There a few more homeless and yakuza but both are very friendly.
Last night i learned a very valuable thing about subways here. They shut down around 1230am but they dump you off where ever you are rather then take you to the end of the line.
Needless to say when your drunk and halfway between kyoto and osaka your gonna have a LONG fucking walk. If you are stuck it is better to find a bar and drink til 5am because without a bike or taxi walking is very slow.
The Osaka Aquarium is the biggest aquarium i have ever seen. There is one huge tank that goes down 6 floor. It was one of the best things i have seen in japan and i might go back another rainy day. They also play classical music so it pretty relaxing to sit and watch sharks and sting rays swim around.

I found a really nice hike trail that ends on a waterfall in osaka. They are suppose to light it up with Led and candles but because of the thyphoon it is the biggest waterfall i have ever seen and was not lit up. I am going back tommorow in the day to hike around and see the monkeys and rain deer. Wild monkeys don't play though. If a monkey see you eatting in the wild you have to show the fuzzy bastard who is boss.
Universal studios is pretty rad. Mostly because all the old rides in America come here to die. I had some hardcore nostalgia when i rode the back to the future ride and biff took the DeLorean.
Backdraft was still a fire show
Terminator 2 show was really fucking good. If T3 was Arnold Schwarzenegger and John Conner going to the future and blow up sky net, it might not be a shit sequel. Arnold starting using his shotgun as a baseball bat at one point and at they end they fight a giant liquid spider.....what could have been.
I go to a video game bar almost every night. It just beyond rad. They know my name and i just jump into a open game or play the nes. They don't kick you out until 4 or 5 so it great. You just run from the sun and hope the subway is open.
More kyoto pics from yesterday.
